English baking
In this class you’ll be taking inspiration from the amazing bakes we enjoy in England. We’ll be sharing the secrets of how to mix, shape and bake a delicious overnight seeded bloomer, traditional English muffins, an enriched dough for Chelsea buns, a flaky rough puff pastry for Eccles cakes and a sticky yeasted malt loaf.

Refreshments will be served throughout the day and a light lunch will be provided and enjoyed with a glass of wine or beer. The experience will leave you confident to be able to apply your new skills and knowledge at home. Most of the products baked in the class can be frozen (so they’ll be ready to enjoy at Easter) - advice will be given during the class.
The class starts at 9am for a 9.15am start. Finish time will be between 4 and 5pm.
Maximum 6 people per class, includes lunch, refreshments, course notes and all your day’s bakes to take home.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
Baskets and bags/boxes to take home all your bakes – there’ll be plenty!
